State the part name, application and development stage: concept, feasibility, prototype, pilot or released production. Mention whether the request covers component manufacturing only or also optical design, tooling, revêtement et assemblage.
Include a 3D model and a readable drawing with revision identifiers. If an optical prescription, ray file or performance model is available, include the format and software version. Mark which file controls if dimensions differ.
Explain the measurement method and operating condition. A target without a test method can lead to different interpretations.

Show the locating datums, mating parts, adhesive or retention method and available clearances. If optical alignment occurs during assembly, describe the adjustment range and system-level acceptance test.
